Manaslu also known as “Kutang” is located in the Mansiri Himal, in the Himalayan region. The peak is located in the west central part of Nepal. The meaning of its name is “Mountain of the Spirit” and it is derived from the Sanskrit name “Manasa” which means “intellectual” or “soul”.

Thibaut Wadowski is about to take on an unprecedented challenge at very high altitude with the ascent of Manaslu, the 8th highest summit on the planet. From the summit, a breathtaking panorama of the Tibetan plateau awaits the entire Wadowski team, who will be keen to wear the team’s colours. The ascent will take place via the normal route, the northwest ridge. This expedition will allow the Wadowski team to discover breathtaking landscapes during the whole adventure, but above all to climb the 8th highest summit in the world with a relative technical difficulty.
